Η 10η επετειακή διοργάνωση του Διεθνούς Φεστιβάλ Ψηφιακών Τεχνών και Νέων Μέσων της Ελλάδας, Athens Video Art Festival είναι γεγονός και θα πραγματοποιηθεί το Μάιο στην Αθήνα.

Στο πλαίσιο ενός δημιουργικού και ευρύ διαλόγου το Athens Video Art Festival ξεκίνησε πριν από δέκα χρόνια με Ακαδημαϊκά Ιδρύματα, Διεθνή Φεστιβάλ και διεθνώς αναγνωρισμένους καλλιτέχνες με σκοπό τη δημιουργία μιας διεθνούς πλατφόρμας συνάντησης και ανάδειξης των τάσεων της εποχής πάνω στο θέμα της ψηφιακής δημιουργίας.

Πιστό στον ετήσιο προγραμματισμό του το Athens Video Art Festival καλεί όλους τους σύγχρονους δημιουργούς να εμπνευστούν από το αστικό περιβάλλον και από τις ανεξάντλητες δυνατότητες των νέων μέσων και να συμμετάσχουν για ακόμη μια χρονιά με διάθεση για πειραματισμό και απελευθέρωση από κάθε είδους στερεότυπα.

Οι δημιουργοί μπορούν να υποβάλουν τα έργα τους στις οκτώ κατηγορίες της διοργάνωσης. Οι δηλώσεις συμμετοχής για την 10η διοργάνωση κλείνουν στις 10 Μαρτίου 2014. Ο τρόπος συμμετοχής μπορεί να πραγματοποιηθεί είτε ηλεκτρονικά μέσω διαδικτύου, είτε μέσω ταχυδρομείου.

The 10th edition of the International Festival of Digital Arts & New Media of Greece, Athens Video Art Festival is here scheduled to take place in May.

Athens Video Art Festival initiated a broadly creative dialogue with Academic Institutions, Organizations, International Festivals and internationally acclaimed artists. Its aim was to create an international meeting platform that would bring out current trends in contemporary digital art. As in previous years, the main categories will be accompanied with art acts, presentations and workshops.

Athens Video Art Festival invites all contemporary artists to find inspiration in the urban environment and the inexhaustible potential of new media, experimenting and freeing themselves from all stereotypes.

Artists may send/ submit their work to any of the categories below. Closing date for applications to participate in the 10th edition of Athens Video Art Festival: 10th March 2014 (date of postmark). Proposals may be submitted via internet or post.
